A bright, floral washed coffee from the Gedeo zone of southern Ethiopia. Yirgacheffe is the reference point for clean, tea-like coffees, and this lot delivers everything the region is known for: jasmine on the nose, ripe bergamot and lemon on the palate, and a honeyed sweetness that lingers.
We roast it light to protect the aromatics. It shines as a pour-over or in an AeroPress, and makes an unusually good iced coffee.
